RENTAL INSTRUCTIONS -
1) CALL THE PROPERTY YOU WANT TO APPLY FOR AND ASK IF THEY REQUIRE A CREDIT SCORE. SOME PLACES DO, SOME DON'T. YOU DO NOT HAVE A CREDIT SCORE UNTIL YOU ADD CREDIT TO YOUR FILE. IT IS COMMON FOR PEOPLE TO HAVE FILED BANKRUPTCY YEARS AGO AND HAVE A BLANK FILE. TELL THEM YOU HAVE NO CREDIT, BUT GOOD RENTAL HISTORY AND EMPLOYMENT.
2) THE ADDRESS ON YOU CPN NUMBER FILE SHOULD BE THE ADDRESS YOU USE FOR YOUR RENTAL HISTORY. USE A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER AS YOUR LANDLORD AT THE ADDRESS THAT IS ON YOUR CPN FILE. YOU CANNOT USE YOUR OLD OR CURRENT ADDRESS THAT IS ON YOUR SSN FILE FOR YOUR RENTAL HISTORY.
3) ON THE APPLICATIONS SHOW AT LEAST 2 YEARS OR MORE RENTAL HISTORY.
4) YOU CAN USE YOUR JOB FOR EMPLOYMENT. YOUR EMPLOYER CAN'T VERIFY YOUR SSN OR PAY, UNLESS YOU SIGN A FORM AUTHORIZING THEM TO DO SO.
5) THEY MAY ASK FOR PAY STUBS. YOU CANNOT USE YOUR CURRENT STUBS IF THEY HAVE YOUR OLD ADDRESS AND/OR YOUR SSN OR PARTIAL SSN ON THEM. CALL US FOR PAY STUBS - $40.00 EACH
